Convenient, clean & great breakfast
Rathauspark Hotel is just 3 blocks from the circle around Old Vienna and therefore close to trams, underground and busses. Also very close to the Rathaus (City Hall) with it's food booths and a free outdoor film festival. We always used trams -- unlimited use with a 72-hour Vienna Card. Our room was modern, very very clean, non-smoking, air-conditioned, mini-bar. Personnel were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was great--with the full range of foods you might want. Minimal bar, but no lunch/dinner service. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Einstein and Maximillian were both fine. Access from the airport via the CAT train (9 Euros) takes you to a stop a fair distance from the hotel. We took a cab from there for 7.50 Euros, but I took the tram back to the train station for my return trip (regular one-way ticket on tram is 2.20).

My favourite hotel in Vienna
I have been using this hotel on a regular basis for my business trips to Vienna for the last two years. I have seen virtually all kinds of rooms from small singles to the suites and I always found myself very comfortable. The hotel was renovated about three years ago, it is very clean, well maintained and enjoys a very good location. The breakfast buffet is very good. I found a very courteous and polite staff ready to comply with any need or request. This is no Hilton, but I think the RathausPark Hotel Vienna is one of the best value for money I ever encountered in my travel experience.
Good comfortable hotel
We chose this hotel when we booked a weekend trip via Expedia.co.uk. After reading numerous hotel reviews we decided on this place, which has been a great choice. The hotel is clean, staff were helpful, our room was light and provided enough space not to bump into each other every time you step out of bed. In our case breakfast was included – and there was plenty to choose from.
The hotel is perfectly situated; you are in the centre (next to the park and Rathaus) without all the noise from the main streets. I would recommend this hotel to people looking for a clean, good value for money hotel in Vienna – without any frills.
Love the Austria Trend Rathaus Hotel
This hotel was booked for us by a graduate student organizing a conference at the university. She made a great choice. The hotel's clean, minimalist decorations were great for my first stay in Europe.
I am a traveller for whom bathrooms make or break a hotel. The facilities were small and functional yet elegantly appointed in a manner that made up for its size. My in-laws had another room with a larger bathroom that was equally well appointed.
Our room faced the interior courtyard. It was wonderful to sleep with the window open. The individual down comforters were warm and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The cool air was lovely.
Breakfasts were quite good. The service was usually excellent. the only exceptions were those times when a busload of tourists descended upon the restaurant right before leaving for the day. Service returned to its excellent level as soon as the extremely large groups departed and the number of patrons returned to a more reasonable level.
It was a delightful stay in a wonderful city. We would definitely stay at the Hotel again.

Location next to Rathaus and University excellent, city transport connections also just steps away, as well as necessary shops and restaurants. Hotel very stylish, rooms comfortable and breakfast buffet varied enough. All city sights are within walking distance, or easily accessible with trams and underground. Little luxury like this is always nice on a trip!
